Arriving via public transport: the right choice!

Transport partners are adapting their offers for the festival and will allow you to fully enjoy the pleasures of our wines.

Trains, boats and buses

Downtown Vevey is easily accessible via public transport day or night.

The CFF/SBB and regional public transport companies allow you to travel to and from the Fête des Vignerons without having to worry about parking. The schedules and the purchase of tickets are managed directly by the carriers.

We also favour “soft mobility”. Bicycle parking spaces will be available in the immediate vicinity of the Ville en Fête.

CFF/SBB

Arriving by train

The CFF/SBB is increasing train frequency and the number of seats to transport visitors to the heart of the Fête des Vignerons and the Ville en Fête.
The evening performances end at 23:30. After the show, regular trains with additional capacity allow to return in most cities of French-speaking Switzerland. To this regular offer are added special trains to Palézieux and Gorgier-St-Aubin – Neuchâtel – Le Landeron – Bienne.
On the night of Friday, July 26, cantonal day of Valais, a train will be extended to Sierre – Brig, allowing the return after the night performance.
Moreover, so that everyone can enjoy the Fête des Vignerons until late at night, a night train offer is set up from Vevey to Aigle and Morges in the nights following the evening performances. These trains run at an hourly rate, with service to almost all stations between Aigle and Morges *.

* Stops not served: Veytaux-Chillon, VD Roche, Denges-Echandens, Lonay, Morges-St-Jean

Details of your best connections are available at cff.ch/fetedesvignerons and on the SBB Mobile App.
Regular tickets are available 60 days in advance of travel.

Travel tickets are available on the CFF/SBB mobile app, online at sbb.ch/en/fetedesvignerons, from ticket machines or at station ticket counters. They are available 60 days before travelling.

In order to avoid long queues at ticket machines on your way back you are advised to purchase a return ticket or, for journeys within the Mobilis fare network (Vaud), a day pass, which will be valid until 7.00 a.m. The Mobilis day pass is easy to find thanks to the quick ticket function, “Day pass for Fête des vignerons”, on the start screen of the ticket machine, or online at sbb.ch/en/fetedesvignerons
